About the Artist
My name is Jonni Good. I’ve been drawing since I was able to hold a pencil in my hand.
I have always loved to draw animals, and my mother’s dog, Henry J, was one of my first models.
I think I was about 10 years old when this drawing was done. My parents always encouraged me, and bought me the drawing books that I used to teach myself how to draw. Our school was very small, and our teachers weren’t very artistic, so I had to teach myself.
I sold my artwork at the famous Pike Place Market about 30 years ago, and my wildlife prints are now in collections all over the world.
I now spend much of my time making paper mache animals. You can see allĀ my animal sculptures at UltimatePaperMache.com
I’m also a huge fan of the Harry Potter books and love learning about mythical animals. I hope you do, too.
I hope you enjoy the lessons on this site, and that you go on to create drawings that are much more imaginative and unique.
